Come welcome the beginning of Summer with a hot musical night! Performing under the muse Jackson Combs, an up and coming Chicago based rock band with an infectious moody rock style born in communities of coming of age of Neo-Folk Artists, that fit loosely in the alt-country/folk rock/soul genres. Steady grooves meet breezy melodies and lyrics dripping with angst. The use of Storytelling and characters honor American roots rock, the best of the old meets a new generation of songwriters.
Recently releasing their 10 song debut “Tales from the Windy City” which tells a story of youth, loss and love while creating a sense an organic sense of Midwestern identity, and also playing several inaugural shows at seminal Chicago venues like the elbo room, wise fools pub, the world folk music company, and the uncommon ground to name a view. The Album was released in limited amounts, but many of the songs became staples for the group and attracted attention to the group. They currently reside in Chicago where production is nearly complete on their Sophomore effort entitled “the Hardest Part” which will be a much more mainstream album, and is slated to be released later this summer.
