Fox Soccer Plus replaces Setanta Sports
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago is dedicated to bring you the best in International Sports, and as such, we would like to announce that Fox Soccer Plus is replacing the Setanta Sports channel. We will still continue to carry all of the available rugby programming, and will be posting all of the soccer and rugby games here.

Soccer Match Updates – January 9th, 2010
Fearon’s Pub wants to inform all of our beloved Soccer fans and regulars that due to weather conditions overseas, many matches scheduled for this weekend are being rescheduled and canceled by the hour. So please, if you are planning on coming in for a match, call ahead at 773-248-0990 to make sure that the match you want to see is still being shown.
For example, the Hull City v. Chelsea EPL match which was scheduled for January 9th at 6:30am has been rescheduled. Once we know the new date/time, we will post it. But for now, this match will NOT be shown at 6:30 on Saturday.

Football, Beer, and Burgers in Chicago!
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago invites you to our Beer & Mini Burger Party this Saturday, September 5th.
Come and watch the England v. Slovenia International Friendly match, which starts at 11:30am, and from 11am to 1pm, only $20 will get you a pair of mini burgers and all-you-can-drink draft beer.

Champions League 2009 Final in Chicago
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago is bringing you the final match for the 2009 Champions League! The final match for the Champions League 2009 has been announced and Man Utd will take on Barcelona. The game will be played in Rome on May 27th, 2009. The final promises to be one of the greatest UEFA Champions League finals in a long time. Barcelona managed to knock out Chelsea and Man Utd did the same to Arsenal.
The Champions league 2009 final will be played on 27 May 2009. Make sure you don’t miss the match because it promises to be filled with great goals and football highlights.
Barca Vs Man Utd is going to be a world class game. Man Utd will be there for a second year in a row, but Barcelona is no easy match.

World Cup Qualifiers in Chicago
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago is proud to be showing the World Cup 2010 qualifier match between England and Kazakhstan this Saturday, October 11th at 11am. Come on down to Fearon’s and join us for this and many other soccer matches all week. Check out our regularly updated schedule for more matches.

Shiner Beer Competition in Chicago
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago and Shiner Bock Beer invites you to come on down to Fearon’s Public House on Tuesday, October 7th to compete in the Longsnap Competition. It is open to anyone over 21, starting at 7:30pm.
Winners will receive Four (4) invites to a Shiner Bock and ESPN Radio party with Steve “Mongo” McMichael. Plus, they will be entered into a raffle to win a trip for Two to Houston to see the Bears play Houston. The trip includes two tickets to the game, airfare, and lodging.
Additionally, Shinerbock will be on special for $4 all day.
In the meantime, come on down to Fearons on Monday the 8th of September and watch the Chicago Bears face Indianapolis in their first regular season game!

Community Shield and NFL in Chicago
NFL Pre-season play starts this Thursday August 7th! Join Fearons as we preview what this fall is going to look like for our Chicago Bears with their first game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Game starts at 7pm. As always, we’ll be playing all the games – including pre- and post-season.
English Football season is almost upon us! Come on down to Fearons on Sunday, August 10th for the FA Community Shield – featuring Man Utd. vs. Portsmouth. Match starts at 9am, and Fearon’s will be open at 8:30am for you to come down and relax a bit before the season starts. And once the season begins, you can check up on when we’ll be broadcasting all your favorite matches on our regularly updated website schedule!

Euro 2008 Finals in Chicago
Fearon’s Pub in Chicago is bringing you the Euro2008 Finals! This Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm, watch the two final teams in the Euro2008 tournament battle for first place. Germany, straight off a heated match with Turkey will face off against Spain, who destroyed Russia in the semi-finals this afternoon.
Again, the festivities at Fearon’s start at 1:30pm, so be there for a great soccer match, as well as a number of great giveaways from Carlsberg, including shirts and more. We’ll have drink specials all day long, so come thirsty!
